Adirondack Farms and Suburban Propane Make $1,000 Donation to JCEO of Clinton and Franklin Counties
In the final months of 2023, Adirondack Farms, a dairy farm in Peru, New York, and valued partner of Suburban Propane, announced a fundraising event on their Facebook page on Giving Tuesday. Adirondack Farms’ tradition of posting to social media, and encouraging social shares helps spread the message to raise awareness about the necessity for resources for people within the community while pledging a monetary contribution. Unfortunately, several communities in the Adirondack region face several poverty challenges including food insecurity. Adirondack Farms’ tradition is one way they support, strengthen, and give back to their community.
Suburban Propane collaborated by matching funds raised by Adirondack Farms and presented the Joint Council for Economic Opportunity (JCEO), a local organization, with a check.
