1 Propane Oven
1 Cookie press

Ingredients

1 cup Shortening
3/4 cup Sugar
1 large Egg
2 1/2 cups Flour
1/8 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Almond extract
1 tsp Food coloring optional
1 container Sprinkles optional

Instructions

Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Cream shortening, adding in sugar.
Add unbeaten egg, dry ingredients, and flavoring. Add food coloring if you chose.
Make sure ingredients are blended well.
Place selected disk on cookie press. Fill cookie press with dough. Press cookies onto a cookie sheet, about 1 inch apart. Add sprinkles if you'd like.
Bake for 6-7 minutes.
