Pumpkin Bread
It's National Pumpkin Day (October 26th) and no better way to celebrate with a loaf of warm, delicious pumpkin bread. Thanks to Carolyn C. in Whippany for sending her recipe in.
Equipment
- 1 Propane Oven
Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cup Flour
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 3 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Oil
- 4 large Eggs
- 2/3 cup Water
- 2 cups Pumpkin
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients together and make a well in the middle.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Divide into 3 floured & greased loaf pans.
- Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or until set.
- Cool 10 minutes and take out of pans.
