Suburban Propane Signs Agreement with the United States Army’s Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program
Last Friday, September 17th, Suburban Propane signed a partnership agreement with the United States Army’s Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program, a strategic collaboration between the U.S. Army and a cross section of corporations, companies, and public sector agencies which guarantees Soldiers an interview and possible employment upon completion of their service. As a PaYS partner, Suburban Propane can also participate in recruiting functions, community events and various outreach initiatives.
Four representatives from the PaYS program, Colonel (Retired) Walter R. Nall, Acting Deputy Commissioner for Veterans Affairs, New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Suburban Propane President and CEO Michael Stivala and over 100 employees, and Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey’s 11th congressional district were on hand for the partnership signing agreement ceremony held at Suburban Propane’s headquarters in Whippany, New Jersey.
Suburban Propane is the proud employer of 321 military veterans, 15 of whom are based in New Jersey.
