Local Suburban Propane Office in Derby, CT

I'm revising my original review because I did get a response from customer service--customer service in the U.S. no less and the manager acknowledged the error and eliminated the bill completely. I'm not thrilled that Suburban dropped the ball on refilling the new tank after they took the old one, but I've been with Suburban for, I think, 30 plus years and in that time, they have dropped the ball only twice--I ran out of gas once before--and while I was looking around for a new gas company, I discovered that few of them had better records for service. So instead of one star, I'm giving them five because any company that (1) responds to a complaint with a personal note and (2) wipes out the bill to make up for an error is a company I would stick with and even recommend because, in general, the days of good customer service from large companies are over, at least in the U.S. where good customer service has become as rare as the passenger pigeon.

Been living in my home for a year in a half, two winters with suburan as my propane carrier and provider. Just want to say they do work with you if you call them, they try to do what they can to keep you happy as their customer. I've never ran out of fuel, always had my deliveries on time with automatic fill up. Propane does go up and down and this past winter has been really bad but they helped me out financially a lot. Prices are the only thing I can really complain about but you can always call and talk to them they are very friendly people, haven't any complaints from their customer service. Their prices is the only thing I can really complain about, they did tried to raise it to 6/gallon but I called them up and spoke to them and was able to get it lowered to a reasonable price. Shouldn't have to do that but it is what it is.

Amazing customer service! After several months of being frustrated trying to get a tank installed with a different company, Mary Ellen told me no more stressing we have it from here! My tank was installed safely and professionally the next day! But she did tell me I have no excuse to cook dinner now! Lol!
