I'm revising my original review because I did get a response from customer service--customer service in the U.S. no less and the manager acknowledged the error and eliminated the bill completely. I'm not thrilled that Suburban dropped the ball on refilling the new tank after they took the old one, but I've been with Suburban for, I think, 30 plus years and in that time, they have dropped the ball only twice--I ran out of gas once before--and while I was looking around for a new gas company, I discovered that few of them had better records for service. So instead of one star, I'm giving them five because any company that (1) responds to a complaint with a personal note and (2) wipes out the bill to make up for an error is a company I would stick with and even recommend because, in general, the days of good customer service from large companies are over, at least in the U.S. where good customer service has become as rare as the passenger pigeon.

After running out of propane (my fault), the office staff was very helpful getting me up and running again.

These guys went above and beyond delivering propane to a first time customer on an hours notice in zero degree weather. My generator was installed last week, and we had not set up the propane delivery. Power went out and they were there. Thank you Robert and the Suburban team.
